Workshop Leaders Needed

The Healthy Living Workshop, designed by Standard University, is a six-week workshop that meets one day a week for 2 ½ hours.  Although they were created for people to help manage chronic conditions, they are beneficial for anyone who would like to make healthy life style changes. They are evidenced based and proven to improve health and reduce health care costs. Some major employers are also providing incentives such as wellness points towards discounts on health insurance for their employees for participating in  the workshop.

The Healthy Living Workshops have become so popular that more leaders are needed, both as volunteers from the community or agencies.

The next training and certification for leaders will be January 13, 14, 20, and 21 at NARBHA, 1300 S. Yale St., Flagstaff. Please see the flyer linked below.

Free Healthy Living Workshop

Celebrate the New Year by taking a FREE Healthy Living Workshop, designed by Stanford University. It’s a great and fun way to make healthy lifestyle changes that will not only improve mental and physical health, it can save you money in health care costs and lead to a happier, more satisfying life! If you have a chronic condition or just want to make some healthy changes in your lifestyle, you can sign up for this six week workshop that meets 2 ½ hours once a week. Two separate workshops will held on Fridays beginning Jan. 9th, 2015 from 9:30 am to noon at the NACA Wellness Center and Wednesdays, Jan. 21s from 9:00 am – 11:30 pm the Flagstaff Adult Center.
