Save the Date: Healthy Air Call-in Day is Tuesday, December 4th

Next Tuesday, December 4th, 2012, we need your voice in support of healthy air.

Please plan to take 5 minutes to call the White House and let President Obama know you want strong soot standards.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has until December 14th to update health standards for soot in our air. You and thousands of other healthy air advocates sent a strong message to EPA this summer that they must set the strictest safeguards on soot pollution.

Now President Obama needs to hear from you that you support strong soot standards.<http://action.lung.org/site/R?i=-R4q3-89wigN62ZGLYbtdg>

Big Polluters want the President to block EPA's proposal because they want to keep polluting our air. They don't want you and your neighbors to know just how dangerous current levels of soot are.

Learn more about the soot standards and why President Obama needs to set the strongest standards.<http://action.lung.org/site/R?i=3HdlaiDyGfhZV2JLIIA-CQ>

In order to maximize the impact of these calls to the President, please wait to make your calls until Tuesday, December 4th, when you receive the talking points in your e-mail. Also, please ask your family and friends to participate in the Healthy Air Call-In Day as well.

Big polluters are working to block EPA's lifesaving clean air protections.

Join us next Tuesday, December 4th, and tell President Obama it's time for less soot.

Thank you for all you do.

Sincerely,
