Decision time for Strong Soot Standards

Decision time for Strong Soot Standards

The decision on new soot health standards is due tomorrow. We need your voice today to let President Obama know how much these standards matter for public health. This is your last chance to tell President Obama to support strong soot standards.<http://action.lung.org/site/R?i=3Ca2hDAk-u21shRclZwvDw>

Independent scientists tell us that we need much stronger standards, but polluters want to be able to continue fouling the air we breathe.

Ask President Obama to set new standards to protect you and your family.<http://action.lung.org/site/R?i=hpnnWyR8zfWxTeOyElPDxg>

Thousands of studies show that soot from diesel engines, power plants and factories worsen the health of those with lung and heart disease, trigger asthma attacks and can even kill. Our children and our communities must be protected from this deadly pollutant.

Tell President Obama: put public health over the polluters wishes.<http://action.lung.org/site/R?i=d2UUe0i0Kvfy80X3Oiy32Q>

Big polluters are working to block EPA's lifesaving clean air protections.

Take action and tell President Obama it's time for less soot. <http://action.lung.org/site/R?i=nzS06mDSEoUVfnKHecpKeA>

Thank you for all you do.
