Further Shore Eevent

Flagstaff's 1st Death Café is part of a global phenomenon. You can learn more at www.deathcafe.com. The meeting will be offered on June 29th from 10 a.m. to noon at the Federated Church at 400 W. Aspen Avenue. The purpose of this meeting is "To increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives". At Death Cafés people come together in a relaxed and safe setting to discuss death, drink tea and eat delicious cake. They are offered by nonprofit organizations with no intention of leading participants toward any particular conclusion, product, or course of action. They do not replace grief or bereavement support groups, but do allow for conversations about these and other aspects of death in a respectful, confidential space. Our Death Café is open to those with secular and/or spiritual viewpoints. Your Further Shore facilitators are experienced prehospice educators and end of life counselors. Offered freely, donations welcome. Reservations are required by calling us at 928-525-2910 or visit us at https://www.facebook.com/FurtherShore
