Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona is recruiting new volunteer members for their Board of Directors. They desire applicants who: currently support Girls on the Run as a volunteer, parent, donor or in another capacity; have prior leadership experience on a Board of Directors, organizational committee, or in a related setting; have skills and experience in fundraising, marketing, public relations, strategic planning, business management, grant writing, finance, or event planning; and are willing to significantly commit their time, energy, skill, and resources to supporting Girls on the Run. After two successful start-up years, during which over 250 girls participated in their life-changing programs, Girls on the Run aims to expand their programs throughout their four-county program territory in Northern Arizona. They are seeking Board Members who can provide strategic direction, and help secure the resources needed, to accomplish this goal while providing oversight to the organization.
