Community Grief Support

Grief is the process of experiencing the reactions to a loss. These reactions can include emotional, behavioral, social, cognitive, spiritual and physical responses. While we may be prepared for the actual loss of a love one, we may not be prepared for our own transition afterwards.

Your grief response is unique to you. It is important to work through your grief in a healthy manner. We know that support from others helps. This includes support from professional staff, as well as other bereaved persons.

Services available:

• Life after Loss Bereavement Group
• Individual and Family Counseling
• Mail Support Program
• Critical Incident Stress Management
• Child and Adolescent Grief Support
• Getting Through the Holidays Support
• Community Grief Education Presentations

Our commitment:

• All hospice patients and families receive pre-bereavement services as needed. All hospice bereaved receive support for 13 months following the loss of their loved one.
• We offer our services to anyone who has suffered a loss through death.
• There is no cost for our bereavement services.
